Share Your NXT and other robots - Earn Money (Submit a question)
MakeAffinity is Robotics 2.0. Makeaffinity is a LIVE robot sharing website. Robotics is useful, educational, inspirational and fun. Can you earn money by sharing your robot with the world? Yes, you can. Do you need a PhD to do so? No you don't. A smart 10 year old can do it. With MakeAffinity, everyone can.
Robot sharers can choose to earn money by charging users for viewing and controlling their robots. By choosing to share a robot and also deciding to earn money from it, you will be entering into the Earning-Robot-Maker (ERM) program for that robot.
In the program, you can set the amount that you wish to charge for each time slot. You will receive a payment related to the number of paid viewings of your robots estimated at 85% of the earnings that your robot has accrued from users, after costs such as payment processor transaction fees.
Payments to you will be sent by makeaffinity to the PayPal email address that you specify as part of your robot's details within approximately thirty (30) days after the end of each calendar month if your earned balance is $10 or more.
The earning-robot-maker's program does not apply when you create robots and set them to free, i.e. Free for everyone.
